apartmentAbout VPSServer

VPSServer.com is a global cloud infrastructure and VPS hosting provider specializing in high-performance virtual private servers, cloud servers, managed VPS hosting, Windows and Linux infrastructure, and flexible server rental solutions.

The platform is operated by Global Cloud Infrastructure and is part of the broader infrastructure ecosystem associated with Kamatera. The underlying organization has roots dating back to 1995, while the VPSServer.com brand itself officially launched as a dedicated VPS hosting platform in 2017.

VPSServer.com focuses primarily on providing flexible, customizable VPS infrastructure with competitive pricing, global server locations, full root access, scalable resources, and 24/7 technical support.

Company Overview

VPSServer.com was created to provide customers with flexible virtual private servers that could be deployed quickly and scaled as their infrastructure requirements changed.

The platform officially launched in 2017 with its first VPS infrastructure in Miami, Florida. At launch, VPSServer.com focused on high-performance VPS hosting using Intel Xeon processors, SSD storage, and high-capacity network connectivity. The company also emphasized flexible server configurations and the ability to scale resources without long-term contracts.

Since then, VPSServer.com has expanded from a single-location VPS service into a global cloud infrastructure platform with more than 20 data center locations across North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

VPS and Cloud Hosting

VPSServer.com's primary product is virtual private server hosting.

The platform provides isolated virtual machines running on enterprise infrastructure, giving customers control over their operating system, applications, networking, storage, and security configuration.

Customers can configure their servers according to their requirements, selecting:

CPU resources
RAM
NVMe SSD storage
Operating system
Data center location
Network configuration
Public IP addresses
Additional services

The platform supports both monthly and hourly billing, allowing customers to deploy infrastructure for long-term production workloads as well as short-term development, testing, or temporary projects.

Cloud Servers

VPSServer.com offers customizable cloud servers designed for websites, applications, SaaS platforms, databases, development environments, and other workloads.

Cloud servers run on KVM-based virtualization infrastructure and provide full root access. Customers can select their preferred operating system and configure CPU, RAM, and NVMe storage according to their workload.

The platform is designed to allow resources to be scaled as application requirements increase.

Cloud servers can also be deployed in different geographic locations, allowing customers to place infrastructure closer to their users and reduce network latency.

VPS Configurations

VPSServer.com provides multiple VPS configurations ranging from entry-level virtual machines to larger enterprise-oriented configurations.

Current entry-level configurations start at approximately $4 per month, with examples including 1 CPU core, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB NVMe SSD storage, and 5 TB of network traffic. Higher configurations provide additional CPU cores, memory, and storage.

The platform also supports customized server configurations for customers requiring resources outside standard plans.

This approach makes VPSServer.com suitable for both small projects and more demanding production workloads.

NVMe Storage

Modern VPSServer.com cloud servers use NVMe SSD storage.

NVMe storage provides significantly higher throughput and lower latency than traditional spinning-disk storage and is particularly useful for workloads involving databases, websites, applications, virtualization, and frequent read/write operations.

Storage can be configured according to the customer's requirements, allowing customers to balance capacity and performance.

Operating Systems

VPSServer.com supports a broad selection of Linux and Windows operating systems.

Available Linux distributions include:

Ubuntu
Debian
CentOS
Fedora
Rocky Linux
AlmaLinux
Gentoo
Linux Mint
Alpine Linux
Arch Linux

The platform also supports multiple Windows Server and Windows Desktop versions.

Customers can choose their operating system during server deployment or use supported custom images where applicable.

Windows VPS

Windows VPS hosting is one of VPSServer.com's important product categories.

Windows-based virtual servers can be used for:

Remote desktop environments

Self-hosted applications

The wide selection of Linux distributions makes the platform suitable for developers with different technical requirements.

Global Data Center Network

One of VPSServer.com's major advantages is its international data center network.

The company currently lists 20+ locations across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Australia, and the Middle East.

North American locations include:

Atlanta
Chicago
Dallas
Los Angeles
Miami
New York
Silicon Valley
Seattle
Toronto

European locations include:

Amsterdam
Frankfurt
London

Israel

This geographic distribution allows customers to select a server location based on their target audience and latency requirements.

Toronto, Canada

VPSServer.com operates a VPS location in Toronto, Canada, making the platform particularly relevant for Canadian businesses and organizations targeting users in Canada and the northern United States.

The Toronto infrastructure uses modern Intel Xeon processors and NVMe SSD storage, while Canadian VPS customers receive the same general pricing structure as other geographic locations without a location-specific premium.

The Toronto location can be useful for:

Canadian websites
SaaS applications
Business applications
Canadian eCommerce
Databases
VPN infrastructure
Remote desktops
Applications requiring low latency in Canada

VPSServer.com also advertises enterprise-grade DDoS mitigation for its Canadian VPS infrastructure.

Network Infrastructure

VPSServer.com emphasizes redundant network architecture and Tier-1 connectivity.

Its infrastructure is designed with multiple network transit providers, redundant switches and routers, and network failover mechanisms. Servers are connected to conditioned UPS systems and use N+1 redundancy with failover capabilities.

The company states that its data center infrastructure is designed without a single point of failure.

This architecture is intended to improve availability and reduce the impact of individual hardware or network failures.

Reliability and Uptime

VPSServer.com advertises a 99.95% uptime guarantee for its cloud infrastructure.

The company's infrastructure uses redundant power, networking, and hardware systems to improve service continuity. ([vpsserver.com](https://www.vpsserver.com/locations/))

The formal SLA also provides a 99.9% service availability commitment under its terms, with compensation provisions if the applicable SLA requirements are not met. Customers should therefore distinguish between the advertised infrastructure uptime figure and the contractual SLA terms.

Security

Security is provided through multiple infrastructure and network-level mechanisms.

VPSServer.com provides:

DDoS mitigation
Cloud firewall
Custom firewall rules
Network isolation
Access controls
Dedicated public IP addresses
Private networking options
Monitoring
Backup services

Customers have full root access, allowing them to implement additional operating-system-level security controls according to their own requirements.

Enterprise-grade DDoS protection is included with the company's VPS infrastructure, including Canadian VPS deployments.

Backup and Monitoring

VPSServer.com provides backup and monitoring capabilities for cloud infrastructure.

Automated backups can be used to protect application and server data, while monitoring allows customers and administrators to observe server performance and availability.

For production environments, customers can combine backups, monitoring, firewall rules, and redundant infrastructure to create a more resilient deployment.

VPSServer.com offers managed VPS hosting for customers who prefer not to handle all server administration themselves.

Managed VPS services can include assistance with:

Operating system updates
Security patches
Server configuration
Performance optimization
Troubleshooting
Infrastructure management
Monitoring

This provides an alternative for businesses that require VPS infrastructure but do not have a dedicated system administrator or DevOps team.

Customers who prefer complete control can instead choose unmanaged infrastructure and administer the server themselves.

The company emphasizes a simple interface intended to make cloud infrastructure accessible even to customers without extensive cloud administration experience.

Flexible Billing

One of VPSServer.com's key characteristics is flexible billing.

Customers can choose between monthly and hourly billing depending on their needs. Hourly servers are billed by the minute, which allows customers to use infrastructure for short periods without committing to a full monthly billing cycle.

The company does not require a minimum contract period and allows customers to cancel their VPS through the management panel.

This model is particularly useful for:

Development
Testing
Temporary projects
Seasonal applications
Short-term infrastructure
Migration projects
DevOps environments

Free Trial

VPSServer.com offers a 30-day free trial for new customers.

The company currently advertises a trial value of up to $100, allowing customers to deploy a server, select a data center, choose an operating system, and test the infrastructure before committing to a paid service.

Credit card verification may be required for the trial.

Support

VPSServer.com provides 24/7/365 customer support.

Customers can contact the support team through live chat and email, while the company also provides other support channels depending on the service.

The support model is designed to provide assistance with infrastructure questions, configuration issues, and technical problems around the clock.

VPS Rental

VPSServer.com also offers flexible VPS rental services for customers who need servers for shorter periods.

The rental platform provides access to the company's global infrastructure without requiring customers to purchase physical hardware or enter into long-term infrastructure commitments.

This can be useful for companies that need temporary computing capacity, testing environments, migration infrastructure, or short-term projects.

auto_awesomeDohoHub verdict

VPSServer is the catalog's budget pick for flexible cloud VPS: $4 gets you a real KVM server with NVMe and a public IP, the meter runs per minute, and there are no contracts or setup fees to second-guess. The configurator is transparent in a way fixed plans rarely are — you see exactly what the cores, RAM and disk cost — and the 21-location network plus Windows templates make it a practical workhorse for anything from trading bots to remote desktops. Budget for the extras (backups, SSL, IPv6) that other hosts bundle, and treat the free trial as your safety net, because there is no money-back guarantee.

quizFrequently asked questions
Why does VPSServer price its VPS as a configurator instead of fixed plans?expand_more
Because nothing is preset: you pick the server type (Starter, Standard or Enterprise), the number of vCPUs, the RAM and the NVMe size, and the monthly price is the sum of the components (Linux images are $0, Windows Server adds $19, Windows Desktop adds $10). DohoHub lists representative configurations from $4/month, and the scraper recomputes every price straight from the provider's published component list.
How does hourly billing work?expand_more
Hourly servers are billed per minute, and the calculator derives the hourly rate as the monthly price divided by 730 — a $4/month server costs about $0.005 an hour. There is no minimum contract: monthly servers are paid upfront with prorated upgrades, and charges stop the moment you delete an hourly server.
How much traffic is included?expand_more
Every plan includes 1–5 TB of traffic per month (the provider advertises 5 TB or a 50 Mbit/s unmetered option on all plans), and additional traffic is $0.01 per GB. Each server connects at up to 10 Gbit/s — practical throughput depends on the CPU you select. One public IPv4 is included; extra IPv6 addresses cost $1/month each (up to 4).
Does VPSServer offer Windows servers?expand_more
Yes, two ways. Windows Server templates add $19/month to any configuration (minimum 2 vCPUs, 2 GB RAM and 30 GB NVMe), and Windows Desktop templates for RDP use add $10/month. Licensing is included in those line items, and you keep full root/administrator access.
What is the difference between Starter, Standard and Enterprise server types?expand_more
Starter (Type A) shares CPU capacity at the lowest price — the entry 1 vCPU/1 GB/20 GB is $4/month. Standard (Type B) is the general-purpose tier with a performance guarantee, scaling to 104 vCPUs. Enterprise (Type D) gives you dedicated physical CPU cores — the provider's "virtual dedicated server" — from $27/month with up to 40 cores. Only Enterprise guarantees no CPU sharing.
Is there a money-back guarantee?expand_more
No. Instead, every new account gets a 30-day free trial with up to $100 in service credits (one server, 1 TB of data transfer). Usage beyond the trial limits is prorated to your card, and billing after the trial is month-to-month with no commitment.
Where are the VPSServer data centers?expand_more
21 locations in 14 countries: eight US cities (New York, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle, Silicon Valley), Toronto, seven European sites (London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan, Stockholm, Bucharest), Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney and Tel Aviv. You pick the region when you deploy, and the provider assists with free migrations.
Do they offer backups and managed services?expand_more
Daily automated backups are a paid add-on: servers are backed up at 00:00 local time and backups are retained for 14 days, with restoration available even if you did not subscribe. A managed option is also available — the support team handles updates and security on request. Neither is included in the base price.
